Emergency Operations Community Emergency Response Teams

The Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) Program educates people about disaster preparedness for hazards that may impact their area and trains them in basic disaster response skills, such as fire safety, light search and rescue, team organization, and disaster medical operations.

Tillamook County Emergency Organizations Tillamook 9-1-1

Officially known as the Tillamook County Emergency Communications District, Tillamook 9-1-1 answers 9-1-1 calls and is the primary dispatch center for all police, fire, and EMS agencies within the County.

The Tillamook County Sheriff’s Office provides law enforcement as was as search and rescue operations in Tillamook County.

Tillamook County Emergency Management plans, prepares and provides for the prevention, mitigation and/or management of emergencies or disasters that present a threat to the lives and property of the citizens of Tillamook County.

T.E.A.R.S is the official Amateur Radio Emergency Service (ARES) affiliated group for Tillamook County, Oregon. Members assist in providing emergency communications throughout the County in times of need.

 

The South County Emergency Volunteer Corps is dedicated to building community and regional resilience, developing programs to ensure readiness and creating a culture of emergency preparedness. EVCNB focuses its work in the Nehalem Bay region, with outreach and support to all of Tillamook County.
